The HELLO EGG Healthy Pregnancy Questionnaire (HPQ)
HELLO EGG HPQ
We believe that accurate health information should be accessible to all pregnant women and expecting mothers. That's why we created the Healthy Pregnancy Questionnaire (HPQ).
The current first trimester version of the HPQ is based on 16 questions which are able. to assess your risk for preterm birth and related complications in the first trimester.
The first trimester HPQ takes about 5 minutes to complete and returns information about demographic and health factors that may be increasing your risk for preterm birth. It provides you information about your risk and about potential interventions that might help.
HPQ results can be downloaded and shared with others. It is especially important to be working closely with a prenatal provider to understand, monitor, and address your pregnancy health and any increased risk you may have. We have included a number of resources that may help you find a prenatal care provider or other help HERE.
The HPQ is based on a risk scoring test that was developed using information on more than 1.5 million California pregnancies and births. This scoring test was evaluated for accuracy with 779,000+ California pregnancies and births and with another 10,000 Iowa pregnancies and births. You can read the California publication related to this risk score in the European Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology (EJOG) HERE. The Iowa publication (also in EJOG) related to this risk score can be accessed HERE.
